Apple pie (Short recipe)

Apple sauce/jam

Apples (dehydrated) 50 g             (1.8 oz)

Brown sugar 50 g                               (1.8 oz)

Cinnamon 1 tsp

Cook in 300 ml  (about 1.3 cups) of water till the structure is jam like


Wheat flour 350 ml                          (1.5 cups)

Cinnamon 1 tsp

Cardamom 1 tsp

Sugar 5 tbsp

Dry yeast 10 g                                       (1/3  oz)

Milk powder 25 g                                 (1 oz)

butter/oil 20 g                                       ( 3/4 to 1 oz)

salt 0.5 tsp

Mix milk powder and the yeast to 150 ml ( a bit over half a cup) of warm (37-42) water

Let the yeast wake up for 5 to 10 minutes

Pour most of the liquid into a zip lock bag containing other ingredients

Mix, and if necessary, add more liquid

Let the dough rest for 1-4 hours in warm place (some inner pocket of your jacket usually works well)

Oil the pan

Squeeze suitable amount of dough onto the pan, tap flat with the spoon, fry both sides for about 4 minutes

Enjoy with apple jam
